- What is a free walking tour?
A free walking tour is a guided city tour without upfront cost. If you liked the tour, you can tip the guide whatever amount you want.
- Do I need to sign up for the tour?
Yes, please check the dates and register.
- I am coming with a group
Please contact us if you are coming with a group of 6 people or more.
- Can I join with a buggy?
You are welcome to join the tour with a buggy! There are stairs, but someone can help you carry the buggy.
- How long is a tour?
A tour typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Where does the tour start?
The tours start at different locations, please see the map on the homepage. Don't be shy, ask people around you if you can't find us!
- Where does the tour end?
The tours ends near the meeting points. The guide will also be happy to give you directions at the end of the tour.
- There is no tour when I'm there. What do I do?
We can arrange a special tour, please write to us how many people you are and when you will be there.
- What is the planning for next month/the following months?
The planning for next month will be announced on the homepage a week in advance at the latest.
- The weather does not look good, is there a tour?
The tour will take place, rain or shine. The tour will only be canceled in case of extreme weather conditions (and by extreme, we mean extreme for Switzerland ;-) ) and that will be announced clearly on the homepage.
